Background
Allison Steiner brings her LCSW training (Skidmore College, Case Western Reserve MSW) and client-centered clinical orientation to RECO Island's medical detox program. While detox is medically led, the therapeutic foundation Allison provides starts the recovery conversation that continues beyond detox.
Approach to Care
At RECO Island, Allison's role is to be present with detox patients as they emerge from the most acute phase. Her client-centered approach respects where each patient actually is — not where a treatment plan would prefer them to be.

Allison holds her BS from Skidmore College, MSW from Case Western Reserve University, and the LCSW credential.
